DJ Jelly presents the Atlanta Experience

On Friday, August 18th, 2017, Atlanta’s own DJ Jelly hosts a night of introducing the powerful works of several female writers, poets, and songstresses.

For the first installment of the Atlanta Experience, we’d like to introduce you to Lakeesha Tucker, author of the book, Little Girl Lost: The Journey of a Soldier.

:::: About Little Girl Lost ::::

The young and innocent Destiny escapes the hands of her sexual abusers only to run into a life filled with sex, lies, money and traumatic experiences. After months of suffering humiliating abuse at the hands of her mother’s boy friend, Destiny finds refuge in the arms of a local D-Boy. Things seem to be going well despite her addicted mother’s absence, but after Drake is arrested and her mother dies in her sleep; Destiny determines that she only has one life to live. She was going to hustle her way to the top. Take a journey into this sordid tale of lies, sex, and abuse to find out what really happened to change Destiny’s hustler mentality. Did she get pregnant? Did she marry the man of her dreams? Or did she find herself hustled in her own twisted obsessions?
